Based upon International UAW Policy for Local Union Web Sites, the following guidelines are established:

  2. Submissions should be issue based.
  3. To be considered, submissions must have the author's real name, along with their email address. If you are not a member of UAW Local 1999 and wish to submit an item to this Bulletin Board, please include your telephone number in the event you need to be contacted about your submission.   4. Attacks on any union member will not be posted. Submissions containing telephone numbers, pager numbers, etc. will not be posted.
  5. Submissions that promote or disparage any Local Union or International Union politician, candidate, or possible candidate for Local Union or International office will not be posted.
  6. Submissions that violate copyright laws will not be posted.
  7. Submissions that could be libelous will not be posted.
  8. Submissions containing advertisements will not be posted.
  9. Submissions that promote or disparage a candidate for public office will not be posted.
